And what is Domain Term Means?

Domain is a backbone term on The Internet. Domain is a name for our website. Yes, like this site named "http://www.funinternet.co.cc" its the domain.



How we can get the domain? We must register it. An Organization called IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) appointed to manage domain around the world. The IANA worked so that the domain name is keep unique around the world, if others have been register it, the others one cannot register it again.



In simple scenario, you cannot register http://www.funinternet.co.cc again, cause i have been register it first. IANA pointed a company to serve people that want to register a domain, so people no need to go to IANA themselves. So, this is the difference between the term of Hosting and Domain. Hosting is the placed and Domain is the name. Just simple like that.
